We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out by AC Lofts.
From start to finish, the communication was clear, friendly, and professional. The team arrived on time every day, kept the site tidy, and worked with great attention to detail. The quality of the craftsmanship is outstanding, and the project was completed on schedule and within budget.
They gave us great ideas on how we could use the space and nothing was ever too much trouble, hardly any mess made and all cleaned up after themselves, genuine, down to earth and hardworking bunch of guys. It’s rare to find tradespeople who genuinely care about their work and their clients, but AC Lofts exceeded all expectations. We’ll be using them again and recommending them to friends and family.
After months of thinking the project was just a pipe dream, Richard visited within 48hours of our enquiry and within a week the build was agreed and booked. We now have 2 double rooms when we only ever thought we could have 1 with a dormer, it has just been the best investment and everyone is loving the new space.

The team at AC Lofts were brilliant from start to finish. They were always on time, smartly dressed, and worked really hard every day. Everyone was friendly, trustworthy, and clearly knew what they were doing.
The different trades were well coordinated, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They were also really understanding and considerate, as we had a 4-month-old baby at home at the time.
The team kept everything tidy, worked quickly and managed to deliver great quality. They were able to tailor the conversion to meet our requests.
We couldn’t recommend AC Lofts enough.

Looking at having a loft conversion – Honestly, AC Lofts should be your only choice.
From the initial project meeting where the timeline of 8-10 weeks for complete conversion was suggested, right through to the end of the project, the team from AC Lofts surpassed all expectations.
The whole team are extremely professional, respectful and friendly (not to mention very tidy!). We went for a ‘turn key’ solution which was delivered on time & within budget. The craftsmanship from outside to in is amazing & the speed which they work is incredible – I left the house one morning for work with roof intact, arrived at work 30 minutes later with images showing half the roof removed, got home that night and there was a weatherproof dormer in place.
The WhatsApp group AC Lofts create is great for information – you’re made aware of what’s coming up, who’ll be attending site & updates (with pics) at the end of most days.
We fully recommend AC Lofts as they made the whole project stress free and provided us with a great space.
Thanks Richard, Adam & the whole team!

From our first meeting with Richard through to completing the finished loft, we could not have been happier with the quality and service from the AC Lofts team.
The whole team were extremely knowledgeable and professional, they stuck to the agreed timescales and delivered exactly what they promised.
They communicated progress throughout, were always available to answer questions and used their combined experience and expertise to provide helpful advice and suggestions on initial design, layouts and finish, which meant we got the absolute best out of our loft space.
We would be more than happy to recommend AC Lofts to anyone.

We are delighted with the service we received from the AC Lofts team. The finished result is fabulous with top quality work. The ‘dormer” day was one of the coldest of the year but the lads got stuck in from sunrise to sunset. Their recommendations for trades people afterwards was excellent too and we would definitely recommend AC Lofts for anyone thinking of using their services. 5*

We were initially anxious about undertaking such a large building project, but from the outset we were very impressed by the professionalism of the AC Lofts team. From Richard’s first visit to inspect the property and quote the project, it was clear that the team were very knowledgeable and specialised in this kind of building work. We received advise and suggestions on points that had not been picked up by other companies that we engaged to quote the project, and this expertise really made AC Lofts stand out.
The work started on the agreed date, and every member of the team that worked on our project was very professional, polite, and respectful of our property, including always cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. The aspect that has impressed us the most however is the quality of the work, which has been outstanding. From converting and installing the loft itself, through to the plastering, carpentry and electrics, the team clearly work to a very high standard.
The team are very accessible and responsive throughout the work, and being part of a WhatsApp group meant that we could post any questions and co-ordinate work on the property at any time, and we always received a quick response.
We now have a fantastic extra space in our home that we are extremely happy with, and we have no reservations at all about recommending AC Lofts to anyone that is considering a loft conversion.

Thank you so much to the team from AC Lofts for adding two extra rooms to our house and turning it into our “forever” home.
From the first consultation to day one of the works commencing and all through to completion, the guys were polite, friendly and professional at all times. It is a daunting thing to hand the structure of your home over to someone but Adam and the team put us at ease and we are so pleased with the decision.
Th team spoke to us on all the different options that could be done with our space and supported us in getting the most out of our conversion. The entire process was easy and straightforward, and we fully trusted the work happening each day.
The loft conversion has given us much needed space for our growing family and we are so pleased with the result.
Thank you everyone from from AC Lofts, best decision we have made!

We decided to use AC Lofts from several other quotes, as we felt they were the bext in accommodating our ideas as to what we wanted from our conversion.
From the first to the last we were impressed with the communication and professionalism of Adam and the team in their management of the project.
All of the individuals involved were always on time, polite, very hard working and tidy.
We now have an amazing extra living space, in place of a dark, dusty and unusable loft.
Many Thanks.

Having previously had a very bad experience with a builder we were worried about having a loft conversion. We finally decided to go ahead and are so pleased that we found AC Lofts to build it.
From the beginning, when Richard talked us through the proposal, to then end, when Adam signed it off, we experienced nothing but professionalism, pro activeness, skill, patience and kindness.
The team are amazing and such a nice bunch – we shall miss them being around. They know exactly what they are doing – turning up when they say they’re going to, getting on with it and always keeping us informed/involved and therefore making the experience as stress free as they could. Every trade that Adam engaged were just as efficient and we have ended up with the most wonderful master bedroom and ensuite.
Adam and his team have restored our faith in having work done and we would 100% recommend them. We will be using them for everything!! A MASSIVE “thank you to every single one of you.

We are really pleased with our loft conversion. A brilliant way to make the most of the wasted space, we were most definitely not using well.
Adam and his team were great, they worked fast but well and did a very good job. All trades, plumbers, roofers, chippies, plasterers etc were all extremely skilled and tidy (they always cleaned up after themselves).
A local business with all local tradesmen. I would happily recommend AC Lofts to anyone looking into getting this done to their home.

We just want to say thank you so much for the work AC Lofts have done, we love our new loft conversion. From the first visit with Richard and how he explained how the process would work we knew we had to have AC Lofts do our conversion. Then through the weeks, as the work was being done, we liked how we were kept up to date with what was happening, that was so reassuring and the group chat was great. Your employees are so respectful, polite, and professional . We liked how they were always at the house early in the morning ready to work.
Now all our work is completed we just love everything, and it looks great. We will always recommend and talk highly of you guys. We are so glad that after all the research of who we were going to have to do the conversion that we chose AC Lofts.

On behalf of my wife and I, I would just like to say a huge thank you to the whole team at AC Lofts. To say we are pleased with the conversion would be an understatement. We are both amazed at the speed that the work was completed and the lack of disruption to our property during the process. The quality of workmanship is fantastic and I would like to personally thank all the guys as they were brilliant.
I have already recommended you guys to a number of my friends and have no doubt they will be as delighted with the outcome as we have been.

Wow, just wow.
We really cannot believe the amount of space we have in our new loft conversion. Thank you so much, our twin daughters love their new ‘floor’, especially their new shower room. We’d like to say how impressed we were with the team, nothing ever seemed too much trouble (even my husbands continuous questions). Both the girls have painted their rooms pink and are so happy. Thank you so much.

At first I was apprehensive about having more building work done, having had problems in the past but am so glad I employed AC Lofts, they have restored my faith in the building trade.
From the biggest elements to the smallest details, the workmanship and attention detail is absolutely first class and I could not have asked for anymore. Having our own master bedroom suite is absolutely bliss.
Have recommended and will continue to recommend this company – one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

We found AC lofts from a friend’s recommendation who had recently had their loft converted. Still obtaining three quotes, AC lofts were the best value option. I like to be kept informed and Adam’ communication was very good throughout the work and kept us informed of all the main stages. Any messages left were answered very promptly.
All of the AC loft team were very approachable and no question or requests were a problem. I knew I could trust Adam with any issue that arose and that it would be dealt with promptly.
The method of entering through the roof for the first few weeks meant we had no disruption internally until the latter stages. Keeping the dirt and dust outside! When the internal works were underway we were impressed with the team’s preparation in protection of our carpets and housekeeping at the end of each day.
We really appreciate Adam’ skills and knowledge of loft conversions, this was evident in discussions with the structural engineer and staircase manufacturer which ensured we maximised our ceiling height and habitable area. This knowledge and dedication has given us a fantastic bedroom space with en-suite.
I have no hesitation in recommending AC lofts

Ac Lofts helped us straight from the start with our loft in giving good advice and and clever ideas, from planning to finish we were kept informed with regular meetings and phone calls.
On the start day Adam and his team arrived on time and without fuss, started the process of converting our dormant loft into a fantastic tv lounge and seperate sewing/art room. The team were polite and cleaned up throughout the build, a lot of work went into matching the new stairs with the originals and ensuring the we had the best positioning of windows and lights. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and is now used constantly. AC Lofts went on to change our small tired kitchen into a fabulous new one, again Adam and his team were great with good and clever ideas (our small understairs cupboard is now a drinks fridge). We were never inconvenienced and used our old kitchen along side our new one during the transfomation, despite having a wall knocked down and windows raised.
Once again mess was kept to a minimum and the lads were very professional, the kitched was finished to a high standard and items like the fitted breakfast bar and sideboard gave it the personal touch. All the workers involved were excellent and we would recommend AC Lofts to anyone wanting work done on their homes.

I was constantly impressed with AC Lofts’ commitment and timekeeping, from the first quotation appointment through to their last attendance at my home to finish the job, which they did to the highest standard. I had no idea that my modest loft space would accommodate such a fantastic double room and en suite and it was testament to AC Lofts’ experience and imaginative design techniques that we managed to make such innovative use of the available space.
The staff at ac lofts were reliable and trustworthy, which was important to us as a busy working family. They were also tidy and made sure that they left our home in a presentable and habitable state at the end of each working day. My expectations were managed in a realistic way which meant that I was never let down by the team and could plan around the project.
I can honestly say that I have never experienced such application and dedication to a building project as I did from AC Lofts. Their work ethic and professionalism is unquestionably far superior to any competitor whose work I have experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and sincerely hope that I can persuade them to quote for my impending kitchen project at the end of the year!

We heard about AC Lofts through our neighbour, and we asked them to assess our loft and give us a quotation. Having agreed a price that we were happy with, Adam from AC lofts talked us through how things would work, and he understood how WE wanted the finished result to be. Adam kept us in the loop at every stage and answered the numerous questions that we had. There were NO creeping costs, and AC lofts were able to accommodate our requirements to get the look we wanted.
The AC lofts team were very tidy workers. We kept our neighbours informed as to what was happening at every step of the way. The AC lofts team were very polite and thoughtful to all off our neighbours which made for a stress free development.
We are very pleased with all the workmanship. The stairs were built to match our existing Victorian staircase and look like they have always been there. We have smoke alarms in every room in the house, which were discreetly placed and no damage caused to our original Victorian ceilings. Power points and lights placed where we wanted them.
Everyone loves our en suite shower room, the suite looks lovely and the guy who did the tiling did an excellent job.
Of course it’s amazing to see each stage unfold and the room take shape with the last stage being the decoration. We are so pleased with the quality of the decorating and think that with the carpet, also fitted by one of Adam’s team, the end result was lovely.
We found Adam and the whole AC lofts team to be professional, reliable, hardworking and considerate, and felt they delivered exactly what we wanted.

My house had a sizable loft space that was unused. Adam from AC Lofts came to my house to discuss options for making better use of the space and to cover any doubts I had. My house has a beautiful stained glass window and a second floor that I didn’t want compromised so we agreed that the window would remain in view and unchanged and that the new stairs wouldn’t eat into the space on the second floor.
The outcome is just what we wanted. The new room has a walk-in-wardrobe, an en-suite and a really cool cabrio window that opens up to form a small balcony – this is difficult to describe, check out the photos.
The work was done with minimum fuss by a group of friendly and respectful workers. Everything was always left tidy and disruption was minimal.
I have no reservations in recommending AC Lofts to carry out loft conversions.

With any building project, key decision factors for me are trustworthiness; quality and cost. AC Lofts met and exceeded all our expectations.
A large redundant loft space was transformed into a bedroom with a floating wall / walk-in wardrobe and en suite, both rooms have double doors opening on to rear of the property.
From initial design planning through to sequencing of build, everything proceeded smoothly, all comms from Adam and team were clear and concise so we understood when all key milestones would complete. Crucially the property was left safe and tidy each evening.
Each facet of the AC Lofts crew come with a wealth of experience from roof experts, to carpenters, tilers and plumbers. This has also provided me with a future network of contacts for other work I have planned.
